Greenville is located in Dallas, Texas. Greenville is split into two parts, the Lower Greenville and the Upper Greenville. Lower Greenville is in East Dallas, which is west of Lakewood. Lower Greenville sits in between Council Districts 14 and 2. Lower Greenville is a major entertainment zone, which is south of Mockingbird Lane. Greenville contains a lot of bars, restaurants, stores, and live music venues. The annual St. Patrick’s Day is host by Lower Greenville but the route is in Upper Greenville, which is north of Mockingbird Lane.

The arrival of automobiles in Dallas was on Greenville Avenue area and even until today Greenville Avenue is still a hot spot for motor excitements. Upper is more of an upscale so the living quality is more expensive. There aren’t as many bar and entertainment around as Lower Greenville. Greenville Avenue is one of the most important roads in Dallas. The street Greenville Avenue served as a main route from Northern Dallas to Downtown Dallas, which is now replaced by the North Central Expressway (US 75).

Greenville is considered to have a humid subtropical weather. It has an elevation of 541 ft (165 m) above ground. Out of the 12 months available in a year, 9 of the months are warm. There is equal amount of rainfall every month and snowfall only last 2-3 days out of the winter.  July is the warmest month of the year with the temperature reaching up to 96 degrees Fahrenheit. January is the coldest month of the year with temperature around 36 degrees Fahrenheit. May is the month with the most rainfall with an average of 5 inches. Although Greenville doesn’t have much water surrounding, it’s best to be careful during spring when rainfalls are harder than usual. Hard rainfalls can lead to floods and cause water damage to properties.

Water damage is rotting or chips of wood, growth, rusting of steel, and many more caused by different things such as broken dishwasher hose, washing machine overflow, broken pipes, clogged toilet and many others. Some examples are toilet bowls with urine, sump pump failures, and discharge from dishwashers and washing machines. Category 3 is known as “Black Water” which is extremely unsanitary. The black water contains harmful bacteria and fungi that can really make humans very sick. It’s usually found in poor environment such as sewage and seawater.
